We have passed another day of getting the kids to and from performances with the PSO/Magic Of Christmas. Tonight Alex and I attended the performance. As anyone who has performed anything knows, having someone you know in the audience can make it even more exciting, while also causing a bit of nervousness, so tonight was just a bit more special for Olivia and Adam for that reason. Of course Alex and I just kept grabbing each other's knees or elbows, as we were whelmed with pride, love and amazement of our children. I know, every parent says and thinks this, but really, they both sing with their whole bodies, their faces radiate the music. It's just pure joy to watch and hear them sing.

With all the work and fun coming to a close tomorrow after the final two performances, I think they will both feel as if they can put good work behind them, while feeling a small bit of sadness that it is done. Cheers to you, our darlings! You have sung well and made our hearts glad for it!
